 Quality Environmental Certification Assessment Services QECAS - CCAS Americas Ltd was established in January 2000 with direct associations with the British Chamber of Commerce. Glenn Shenton a Lead Auditor previously with DNVQA and having been a Lead Auditor with NSF-ISR, CRS and CCAS then formed his own company to conduct audits with an emphasis on promoting the continuous improvement element of ISO9001: 2008.
The QECAS system is based on Glenn Shenton`s experience in working with several United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) accredited schemes. QECAS mission was to provide a cost effective certification service for small, medium and large enterprises which were seeking ISO 9000 certification.
Since its completion QECAS has built a formidable reputation throughout the USA and UK by offering a first class service at a cost effective price. Friendly qualified assessors with a common sense approach to auditing are used to secure customer satisfaction whilst ensuring that applicable standards are upheld.
QECAS are affiliated with QEC and QECUS, and now offer its certification services in the UK, USA, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Argentina and Finland.
QECAS operates as an independent company and meets all requirements of ISO/IEC Guide 62 (IAF MD-5) and all its Lead Auditors are either IRCA and/or RAB registered Lead Auditors.
QECAS can now offer UKAS accreditation through its associate QECUS the USA appointed representative of QEC.
QECAS operating as CCAS Americas are a member of the Better Business Bureau (Accredited Business with A+ Rating) and have established an independent Governing Board and Certification Panel.
